Scenes. Let'slet's go overscenes. Scenes are supersimple. I haveone scene right now. I want to make anew scene and I want it tobe based on this one. Whatdo I do? Youopen scenes? Tap duplicate. Now I've gotscene 2. It's the exact sameas the scene below it. So let's changesome factors on it. Let's do. Withrectangle, let's do paintone. Let'schange this surface overhere to besomething different, adifferentshader for this scene. Sofor this scene, I wantto pick a shader. Let'sjust go withthis barcode one. Thisactually someof the simple ones, don'tcount themout. They look pretty coolwhen projectedonto real objects. Solet's saythat's what I want to do forthis new.
Scene and I want to. Make some changesto these other surfaces. So Igo to this surface, Iselect it hotlink down. Let's pick anew shader. And let's go with. Let'ssee what would be a good one. Let's just gowith this. Let's see whatwould be agood one. Let's go withthis. This isgreat for circles. Thiswill kind ofanimate in, right?Let's say I want to zoom thismore. So now it's a biggereffect. And Iwant to increase thespeed at whichit goes right. So now I'vegot faster effect. Now I want toapply this over to theseother existing surfaces. Ican copy my settings here. So now I've copied thematerialsettings, Ican easily navigate overto the nextellipse by tapping thisarrow. HereI've selected the next one. Pace settings.
Boom, I've got2 with thesame settings. Ellipse 3. Let's hit itwith the same thing. Heysettings. NowI've got the same effect on all three. So back-to-backto scenes andwhy this is useful, um. Essentially,I've justmodified one of the scenes. Now if I press play on theother scene, it's going tobe theprevious settings, andthis onecontains the new settings. So it allows me to easilyjust switchbetween the two. Theseback and forthprevious next arrows do thatas well. So those arealwaysavailable at amoment's notice by yourthumb. You can add in atransitioneffect. So I like to do a. Most of thetime, let'sjust make it a bigger effectso that we canactually see that and. Andnotice it so I'll do fadeagain longerperiod of time, so nowwhen I switch.
I've got a agentle fadeeffect. Notice how it fadesfrom from one to the next. It's not a cuttransition. And that'sthe, those arethe basics of how to use theapp. There's amillion different waysto do this andto control this, but thisis going to bewhat controls the vastmajority of ofwhat you'redoing. In futuretutorials,I'll takedeeper dives into each ofthese and ifyou have any questions onany of this. Comment below. This is all, likeeverything onthis website, this is all just free artfor the sakeof art. You know, you candonate if youwant to donate when you picksomething up,a save file or whatever itis. It helpsme keep things running, butthere's nopressure to do that. It'sreallyimportant forme that we view this notas a product, but as a toolfor us tocollaborate and createvisual artswith. And so any questionsthat you have. Happy to collaboratewith anybodyon a project that they'reworking on. Give them
ideas. Suggestchanges or if you getstumped onsomething, let me know. Andyou can evenrequest a feature. Youknow, it's notthat hard for me to buildsomething inthat is requested. Andthe goal is tosupport a small, tightknitindependentartist community, notto competewith resolute, you know, likeeverybody elsewho's doing theirprojectionmappingsoftware cando their thing, youknow, and andthis is really just aboutkind of a moreniche. Situationwhich is. Umm being moremobile withprojectionmapping and whatever I cando to support, happy to doit, so thanks for being apart of it. 01 last thing, the preview isdisabled. What happened? Thisturns off bydefault after a certainamount of timeif I don't touch thescreen, andthat's to help save on systemresources. Youcan manage that and theoutput panelhere by adjusting theauto sleepwhen idle. By default it's90 seconds andif you'redoing.
Projectionmapping eventand you have the USBCconnected andyou'reoutputting to the projectorthat will autosleep your screen, youroutput here onyour phone or your tablet, but it won'tauto sleep it on theprojector. Sothat way you get to keeprunning yourvisuals. If you're nottouchinganything for10 minutes, there's noneed to renderit twice, one on this screenhere and onceon the projector. Andthat's goingto help keepyour temperaturedown and yourFPS up. Socheers, appreciate youall. Bye.
